  • [Home Depot] YMMV Ryobi Brushless Circular Saw 7 1/4″ $148 ($31off)

    I saw another deal at Home Depot this evening folks might be interested in. I’m not entirely sure if it’s hot, but it’s a brushless 7 1/4″ circular saw. Normally I see the 5″ saws but this was the larger version and brushless. This was in the clearance section so heavy YMMV. There was one left at the Dufferin location tonight.

    There are 5 models available – this is very similar to the AMD Z1 / Extreme (as in the ROG Ally and Legion Go). These are the most current gen Z series but are being discontinued, excellent travel laptop for what it is, but not for everyone’s use case.

    Deal Stuff:

    • Rakuten is 12% CB at the time of this posting. None of the Rakuten codes worked to lower the price further. Cash back was instantly posted to my account this AM.
    • Lenovo rewards = 3%
    • Perkopolis pricing is lower by $10-$20 but no Rakuten CB.
    • Lenovo Business pricing is the same as the regular retail.
    • ID.Me pricing discounts did not reflect any price change in cart for me.
    • The Lenovo Canada official ebay store has one IPS variant but it’s more expensive than Lenovo.com/ca.

    Was searching for no/lpw show socks for summer and snagged these.

    Medium gray clearance color only. All sizes except XXL available as of posting.

    Yes it’s Asus, and it’s white. It’s also a generation behind. The seller is Newegg and shipping is free. It does have most features people will use now though. Asus has done a good job of updating its bios (last update June 26, 2025). I also saw this sell out on Asus Canada’s website at $379.99 today. $379.99 is also Amazon’s sale price. At 285.99 you’re almost saving an additional $100 over the sale price. I know only niche people might be interested but please don’t flame.
