The Costco Exclusive 2% Transfer-in Offer (the âOfferâ) begins August 3, 2026 and ends October 31, 2026 (the âOffer Periodâ). To be eligible, you or your immediate family members living at the same household address must have been selected centrally by CIBC to participate in the Offer and have a CIBC Costco Mastercard (including CIBC Costco Mastercard, CIBC Costco World Mastercard and CIBC Costco Business Mastercard) and a CIBC personal deposit account prior to completing the transfer-in. Eligible participants must be the age of majority in their province or territory, and a legal resident of Canada to qualify.
To qualify, you must transfer cash (the âTransferred Assetsâ) from a financial institution outside the CIBC Group of Companies to a new or existing eligible CIBC account(s) (each a âQualifying Accountâ) and purchase any one of the CIBC Smart Investment Solutions mutual funds and/or any of the CIBC Personal Portfolio Services Wealth Generation (excluding the Secure Income Portfolio and Ultra Short Term Model) or Income Generation Portfolios (the âQualifying Assetsâ). Transfers must be initiated during the Offer Period and before October 31, 2026.Transferred Assets must be invested into Qualifying Assets by December 31, 2026 and remain in the respective Qualifying Assets until April 28, 2028. Assets withdrawn before April 28, 2028 may result in partial or full forfeiture of the bonus.
If you satisfy the terms and conditions, a 2% Bonus will be paid in two installments (1% each) during the weeks of April 30, 2027 and April 28, 2028, calculated on the book value of Qualifying Assets as at February 26, 2027 for the first payment, and as at February 29, 2028 for the second payment, with a maximum Bonus of $20,000 per Qualifying Account.
The Offer does not apply to accounts at Simplii Financial, CIBC Wood Gundy, or CIBC Investor’s Edge and cannot be combined with other offers. There may be tax implications associated with this Offer.
