  • [Best Buy] ***SOLD OUT*** MacBook Air 13.6″ M3 24 GB / 512 GB Best Buy Certified Open Box – $1399.99

    https://www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca/product/op … n/18911339

I just got one of these:

2024 M3 MacBook Air – Best Buy Geek Squad Certified Open Box
    13.6″ screen
    24 GB RAM
    512 GB SSD
    US English keyboard
Dual USB-C 35 W adapter with MagSafe charging cable
    Touch ID

I got Starlight, but only the fingerprint-loving Midnight colour is left right now.

Box a little dirty but machine is in mint condition. Warranty left is 8 months, and Apple won’t extend it to 12 months.

Still, at this price, it’s reasonable.

Alternatively, you can wait until June and get an M4 16/256 for $1249, M4 16/512 for $1549, or M4 24/512 for $1849, but maybe with a free gift card under their Education Store Back-To-School Promotion. (The 16/256 only includes a single USB-C 30 W adapter though. The dual USB-C 35 W is a small $20 upgrade.)

[The Beer Store] Ontario: The Beer Store: Tuborg Gold beer 5.5 % Alcohol 473 ml can $1.91 all in 50 cents a can off.

ImageAs above Tuborg Gold Beer 5.5 % large can. $1.91 incl. GST + deposit for a single can. You can buy as few as 1 or as many as you like at this price which I think is a reasonable deal given the single unit pricing. Twenty-four cans will set you back $45.84 all in.

This beer used to be brewed in Turkey but is now domestically produced in Kitchener for Carlsberg Canada.

This beer has a nice flavour slightly stronger than the popular beers. I do not know when the sale started or ends.

Reviews on the early 2023 VF 8’s were pretty bad. However, they seem to have sorted out a lot of issues. I drove it and it was decent – especially for the price. It is well equipped, even in base configuration.

Considering fuel savings, this makes a great commuter car.

  • [Gamestop] 50% extra trade for games towards a New Game, Console and Controllers

I’ve been obsessively checking GameStop to see if they’ll eventually run a promo offering a bonus promo for trading in the old Switch (current trade in value is $150 for the OLED) so I can put it towards my Switch 2 reservation. So far it looks like they’re only taking games to put towards a new console. Details below.

I had a look at the trade in values for first party Nintendo games and looks okay-ish. Mario Kart 8 is $34 before promo. Mario Odyssey is $30 before promo.

    Run Dates: Apr 28 – May 4
In store only. Eligible titles are for Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X & PS5. Offer valid only towards games normally accepted in trade. Trade value cannot exceed cost of the purchased item. Games must include original cases and artwork. Extra trade is to be put towards the purchase of a new (sealed) game, new console or new controller. Cannot be combined with any other trade offer including EDGE. No duplicate titles accepted. Trades must be in full working condition to receive full value. Subject to Manager approval. Offer subject to change at any time.

  • [Canadian Tire] Apex Zero-G NXT Premium 5/8 inch x 100 Foot Hose $49.97(YMMV at West Toronto store)

Teknor Apex Zero-G NXT Premium 5/8 inch x 100 Foot Hose $49.97, Amazon is 132 right now.

YMMV AT West Toronto (Stockyards). LIFE TIME WARRANTY.

YOU HAVE TO CHANGE THE STORE LOCATION TO West Toronto (Stockyards)

It has 25 left. I order home delivery for $10 shipping cost with other items and you can combine any triangle offer.

Well, I check Costco Rapid Flo garden hose is $69,99 in store now and online rating is 2.3 only. I bought one with 50 long time ago and it still good as I only use in garage.

I try to find a good quality but the garden hose price is crazy high right now. this should be a warm price if you don’t like Costco one.

Good luck for the warranty as I have typical zero g before, it mentioned 5 years warranty however broke after 3 years. No reply after I submitted a claim online, or maybe I should call direct to them?

If someone can share their warranty experience, it would be nice!
