Currently on Acanac’s $33 150Mb fibre home internet (an increase from the original $30 2023 black friday deal). My discount was supposed to end in December, so I called support (416 849-8520) and asked if they could continue the discount. Unfortunately they couldn’t give me the same price, but I got offered $40 for the same plan. The price was supposed to increase to ~$50 in December.
For current subscribers, I recommend asking to be transferred to the loyalty department. I didn’t explicitly ask for this but the first person I talked to transferred me to there anyways. Not sure if this deal is available for new customers.
The rep also hinted that there could be a new year’s promotion for ~$35 and suggested to call back around January 2nd to ask if they could match my previous promo. No guarantees, but I plan to do that and post another update if I manage to get that!
Haven’t been seeing many home internet deals this black friday yet, so hope this helps some people snag a lower price.
