  • [Xbox] Star Trek Prodigy: Supernova digital game for Xbox Console and PC – $3.19

Star Trek Prodigy: Supernova digital game for Xbox Console and PC

    Original price: $63.99
    Sale price: $3.19

Plays on: Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, Windows

    Steam rating:6/10

I’ve never played the game, but as a Star Trek fan, I picked it up at this price.
Supposedly the game is leaving the Xbox store soon, which is why it’s on sale.

  • [Amazon.ca] [$22.50] ]Brunswick Sardine Fillets Seafood Snacks Golden Smoked 92g, 18 Count ATL 2025

All time low for this year. I bought this the last time they were listed for 27 dollars, but now they are 22.50.

This comes down to 1.25 per can.

One can contains approximately 80 g of sardines after draining the oil.

This nutritional profile is considered healthy when assessed against current dietary guidelines and evidence-based recommendations for adults:

    • Omega-3 fatty acids (2 g/can): This amount meets or slightly exceeds the Adequate Intake (AI) for alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), which is 1.6 g/day for men and 1.1 g/day for women, as established by the Institute of Medicine and cited by the National Kidney Foundation Kidney Disease Outcomes Quality Initiative (K/DOQI). The American Heart Association (AHA) recommends at least two servings of fatty fish per week, typically providing 1–2 g of EPA/DHA per serving, to support cardiovascular health.[1–2]
    • Omega-6 fatty acids (0.7 g/can): This is below the Acceptable Macronutrient Distribution Range (AMDR) of 5–10% of energy intake for linoleic acid. However, given that the typical Western diet is already high in omega-6 fatty acids, this lower amount in a single serving is not concerning if the overall diet remains balanced.[1][3]
    • Saturated fat (2.5 g/can): This is well below the recommended limit of less than 10% of daily calories from saturated fat, as advised by the Dietary Guidelines for Americans and the AHA. Limiting saturated fat intake is associated with reduced cardiovascular risk.[3–5]
    • Monounsaturated fat (1.5 g/can): Monounsaturated fats are considered cardioprotective and are recommended as healthier replacements for saturated fats in the diet.[3–4]
    • Protein (18 g/can): This represents a significant source of protein, helping to meet the daily recommended intake of approximately 0.8 g/kg body weight for adults.[3]
    • Salt (0.38 g/can, ~380 mg): This is well below the recommended daily sodium limit of 2,300 mg (or 1,500 mg for individuals with hypertension), in line with AHA guidelines.[4–5]

    Summary:
The nutritional profile of sardines aligns with current recommendations for cardiovascular and general health when incorporated into a balanced diet that includes other sources of essential fatty acids and nutrients.

  • [Amazon.ca] Beauty-Mark Motorized Awnings (60-80% OFF) YMMV

Looking through Amazon for some patio Awnings, I noticed some that where unusually cheap.

Motorized awnings usually go for around $800-$1200, but certain options seem to be heavily discounted on Amazon.

Use the following link to see all options from Awntech ( a reputable company for these) and filter price “lowest to highest” to see the colour options heavily discounted:

Only a few left in stock so YMMV.

  • [Best Buy] Denon AVR-X1700H and Klipsch R41M Bookshelf Speakers combo – Both for $699

I am looking at replacing my 10 year old home theatre AV receiver and stumbled across this deal at BestBuy. The receiver seems to be very well reviewed and would probably be a pretty good deal on it’s own at this price.

I’m sure some ill chime in on the speakers…Klipsch can be a bit controversial. This is this their basic speaker line, and many will say Klipsch lacks bass, sounds bright etc. They are still very decent speakers though, and paired with a sub would make for a great basic 2.1 home theatre setup.

Personally I have a solid HT setup at home, so I’ll be putting the speakers up on Marketplace to bring my cost for the AV down.

  • [Uber Eats] Uber Eats – 50% up to $20 – Pickup only – Select Cities (Toronto, Vancouver, Victoria)

Pretty good Uber Eats promo code here, that is also pickup only which is super rare.

    Promo code: PU50CA6JA25

    Details
Select Cities Only (Toronto, Vancouver, Victoria) but seems to be working in other cities as well!

    Select Restaurants

50% off up to a maximum of $20 (so spend $40 to maximize the deal)

    Minimum spend is $25

    Pickup only

Doesn’t work with other discounts (Although I had it work with a “free item with purchase” promotion)

Code is Valid Once, can be used with Existing Accounts, and Expires Nov 1

I used the code at Usagi Sushi which I highly recommend, and borders High Park in Toronto. I’m not sure if “Toronto” includes all of the GTA, or just Toronto proper. Please post your experiences on which areas are valid/not valid. Expiry date was Nov 1, but with the RFD effect in play, who knows if they’ll kill the promo early. Best to jump on this sooner rather than later.

To add this promo, go to Account, Promotions, then Enter promo code up top.

Enjoy! And sorry if this doesn’t work in your area. I know that can be super frustrating.
