It looks like there is an over-supply of Halloween chocolates and deals are everywhere. Just noticed this deal in the upcoming Fortinos flyer for 100 count of Nestlé chocolates for $12.99 with a 2,000 PC Optimum Point bonus. Taking out the tax effect (since points are given after-tax and chocolates are priced before-tax), the net effect is $11.22 for 100 count before tax (or $5.61 for 50 count if comparing other deals). Assuming 13% HST in Ontario, since most (if not all) Fortinos stores are in Ontario.
Of course, price-matching at RCSS or Freshco is possible, but you don’t get the bonus PC Points (unless RCSS has something to go with). Peel-off coupons have also been spotted, but not necessarily at Fortinos or RCSS.
It will not last at this price point, so good luck everyone!
