YMMV, of course. Not as good as Tangerine’s current offer of a 4.75% special rate, but for those who have not received the Tangerine rate, Simplii is offering a 3.75% rate expiring January 31st 2027.
Just a warning: Simplii has low-balled these types of offers in the past, then raised the offer to those who did not take advantage a few months later. There is an argument for ignoring the first offer of 3.75% then waiting for a (possibly) higher offer, given that Tangerine’s promotional rate is so much higher. The decision is yours, but a bird-in-the-hand suggestion should apply, and there’s no need to pull the trigger if you already have Tangerine’s offer.
Interested to know how many RFDers do not have the Tangerine offer but will wait for Simplii to raise their offer.
