Pretty nice laptop, a friend of mine got this on sale a couple months back for the same price and love it. Very quiet for daily usage and the thermals are great for under load, doesn’t thermal throttle. Full power RTX 5060 gpu in it, upgradable ram, expandable storage. Screen is 165hz and 100% sRGB as well with Gsync. This does have a MUX Switch + NVIDIA Advanced Optimus for switching seamlessly between the RTX 5060 and onboard graphics when moving to battery. Speaking of battery, this uses a large 90Whr cell.
Overall a nicely rounded laptop and upgradable.

Here is a very detailed review of this exact laptop. It scored very well, even commenting on some exceptional battery life.

“For years, the “gaming laptop” has come with an unwritten rule: great power, terrible battery life. You could have one, but not both. The ASUS TUF Gaming A16 (FA608, 2025) doesn’t just bend that rule; it shatters it. Delivering over 14 hours of battery life in our tests, it redefines what’s possible for an unplugged gaming experience, crushing its competitors and setting a new benchmark for endurance. But this isn’t just an endurance champion. It’s also a performance beast, with the fastest implementation of its GPU that we’ve ever tested and a cooling system to match”
