I received an offer in my Fido app: $5 off the $15 new “backup” 100GB Home Internet plan making it a crazy $10 a month. Great for a cottage or MAYBE a low usage person.
So…I’m not sure what the terms are for a “Backup 5G Home internet plan”….does it mean if I use it every day they will cut me off? LOL. It literally says no overage charges….sooo……hmmm.
5G Backup Home Internet: For 5G Backup Home Internet, when video streaming, per stream download speeds of up to 3 Mbps. For all usage: total download speeds of up to 50 Mbps, and total upload speeds of up to 10 Mbps; after exceeding plan data allotment (i.e., 100 GB for 5G Backup Home Internet), unlimited data with total download speeds of up to 10Mbps and upload speeds of up to 2Mbps. No data overage charges under either plan.
