[Kraken] Kraken 3% Deposit Match

Just saw this and thought it was worth sharing.

Kraken is doing a 3% deposit match on new cash or crypto deposits from Feb 2 – Mar 9, 2026. You have to enroll in the app first, but after that it’s pretty straightforward.

Key details:

3% match

Applies to new deposits (cash or crypto)

From $1 up to $1,000,000 total

Max bonus: up to $30,000 USD (or CAD equivalent)

18-month hold (from March 9, 2026)

Can deposit in one shot or multiple times

No tiers, no subscription required

Full bonus paid as a single payment in USDC 14 days after the promo ends

So you’re not waiting 18 months to receive the bonus — you get the full 3% in one lump sum shortly after March 9, as long as you qualify. The hold period just means you need to maintain the required net deposits.

The 18-month hold is the main catch, so this isn’t for money you’ll need short term. But if you were already planning to park funds or move crypto over anyway, 3% is a pretty strong incentive.

Honestly, this seems much better than what Wealthsimple currently offers as they have a max 3% deposit match but it is paid over years and has up to 5 year hold.

If you were already thinking about moving assets around, might be worth a look.
