Pretty good deal on the Garmin vivoactive 5 health and fitness watch. Seems to be about 70$ cheaper than other places that currently have it on sale. Limited stock at Canadian Tire, but could possibly try price matching with BestBuy.
There seems to be minimal difference with the vivoactive 6 ($400+). Mainly that the 5 is using the older 4th gen sensor (still very good).
I ended up picking this up for wifey today as she was looking to get a new fitness watch. Seems like it’s fairly similar to the Garmin Venu 3S ($550+) except that it doesn’t have a speaker/microphone which she didn’t care about.
Has all the basics (HR, HRV and sleep stats) as well as the morning report, garmin coach, music storage and body battery which are nice to have features.
