[Telus] [Boxing Day] Telus Winback $35 / month ($30 first 12 M) CAN/US/MEX 60 GB – $3.46/month Pixel 10 Pro ($325 BIB)

Been waiting for a deal on the Pixel 10 Pro similar to the 10 Pro XL deal that some people were able to get during Black Friday (similar plan but 10 Pro XL cost $2.08 / month back then).

I ported my number to Chatr in early December and got a call from Telus Winback but the 10 Pro cost an additional $13.46 / month at that time. They were offering the Pixel 10 for $0 / month but I decided to hold off until closer to Boxing Day.

Called in today and they initially had the 10 Pro for $0 / month and the 10 Pro XL for $5 / month. The 10 Pro has a Bring It Back cost of $325 after the 2 years are up, I took that one so I’m not sure what the 10 Pro XL Bring It Back cost is. Unfortunately, as the agent was finishing my order, they noticed that the monthly cost of the device was actually posted as $3.46 / month by their system, they spent some time but ultimately weren’t able to waive the monthly cost.

The rest of the plan is pretty standard based on some of the other threads here:
– 60 GB CAN / US / MEX – Reduced speeds after that
– Unlimited call / text in CAN / US / MEX
– Hotspot / Voice Mail / Conference Calling

The plan is the ‘5G+ Unlimited 60 – Unlimited Canada-US-Mexico talk, text and 60GB data at 5G+ speed up to 2Gbps.’ Cost breakdown:

• $45 plan cost
• $10 discount with auto bank payments
• $5 credit for the first 12 month

Total – $30 / month for the first 12 months then $35 / month for the next 12 months.

Connection fee of $80 was waived.
The agent also added $0 long distance calling to 6 countries because of the cost of the phone going from $0 / month to $3.46 / month.
