[Lee Valley] iGaging 6″ and 12″ Combination Square Set (imperial) $59.50

This is currently $84.99 at KMSTools. Around the same ATL on Amazon in the last few years.

Availability of iGaging stuff is low in Canada for some reason. Lee Valley says this set is discontinued.

The quality of these squares is something above the regular cheap name brand stuff you see in stores. iGaging is like discount pro stuff competing against brands that most of us wouldn’t recognize. Starrett squares cost 4x more.

I think the closest thing to this in stores would be the Empire combination squares from Home Depot, which would be $45 for the pair without a case. If you don’t have a place to hang your squares, keeping them safe in a case is better than rattling around in a drawer.

This would be a good gift for someone who has a crappy old square that slips, or is rusted, or has bad markings. Lee Valley has a good return policy and locations across Canada.
