Not sure how I found this, but happened to see that this small drum coffee roaster is on sale at wayfair.
Seems okay after doing some cursory research online about this; reviews seem favorable enough but there aren’t many (on the English internet anyway)
What turns me off is that it does use an app which has some profiles and features that are behind a subscription.
What’s free does seem serviceable though, manual roasting, and some basic profiles.
(Included a pic of what you have access to in the app when you login using an email (Member tier free) and what is paid (VIP))
Capacity is about 100-150g so definitely on the small side.
I’m not sure who this is really for because you could buy a Skywalker/Itop/ etc or something that you could set up with/ or is already set up with artisan/ hibean for not much more and have access to the extensive community already on those.
I will say it does look like a turnkey solution for someone who is sort of into roasting but does not really want to get into the minutia of roasting.
But a coffee deal is a deal and I’ll post it regardless.
