[Koodo] [Black Friday] [Koodo] YMMV BF $30 Telus $20 Koodo

I contacted Telus to inquire about BF offers just like every RFDer. Rep initially offer me with the standard promotion: 60GB for $30/month for the first 12 months, increasing to $35/month afterward. They also offered the iPhone 17 Pro Max at $43/month over 24 months, but i dont want it so forgot to ask about the BIB balance.

I had push a bit further tell the Rep I currently have six lines with Rogers at comparable pricing whihc $35 pemonth, so I would need a stronger incentive to consider switching. He placed me on hold for about five minutes and returned with an alternative option through Koodo, which could offer better pricing for all six lines.

The offer was:

Koodo (initial proposal)
• 60 GB CAN
• First 12 months: $40 for the main line + $20 each for the other five lines (total $140/month)
• After 12 months: $45 for the main line + $25 each for the other five lines (total $170/month)

He began setting up the account but later realized Koodo allows a maximum of four lines. He apologized and asked if I would be open to splitting the plan between Telus and Koodo while keeping the same overall pricing. I agreed.

Final combined offer:
Telus (2 lines): $30/month for the first 12 months (60GB CAN-US-Mexico, 5G)
Koodo (4 lines): $20/month for the first 12 months (60GB CAN wide, 4G)
After 12 months: Each line increases by $5/month which is sum to the same all 6lines first 12 month is $140 per month, and $170 per month afterward, no contract, month to month

PS: the Telus plan can add Phone with discuount like iPhone 17PM at $43 etc… the Koodo is not eligiable for hardware
