As a warning, yes, the specs + camera of this device are not great compared to the offerings that we had from previous years. Last year, they gave out the Moto G Power (2024) which has better specs than this. And just two years ago, they gave out phones such as the Pixel 7 and 8 entirely for free on MyTab.
However, if you’re looking for a more low-end device that has good battery life and can do 99% of what most people do on a smartphone (use the web browser, go on YouTube, use Maps, scroll on social media, etc) and unlike the (current) Pixel 10 deal, you want to keep the phone rather than giving it back to Freedom after 2 years, this phone will do the trick. I would highly recommend watching some videos first to see if it can suit your needs or not.
One interesting feature about this device though is that it has an e-ink mode… meaning you could save on battery life further (they claim it can last a week without charging) and for those who feel like they might be too addicted with their devices, it could potentially be used as a tool to help elevate some of those concerns. You could also see it as a Kindle, perhaps.
Like I said though, this device will not be for everyone, and I myself will probably hold until the day of Black Friday/Boxing Day to see if there might be better options that are offered by Freedom. But I thought I should post this offer anyways, in case someone here might be interested in it and would be perfectly fine with the device as an option.
