I like to stock up on a reasonable bulk number of name-brand AA alkaline batteries at a good per-battery price like this. I personally keep alkaline batteries on hand for devices that are sensitive to dropped voltage or for devices like emergency flashlights.
I do not find this kind of per-battery pricing for a name-brand battery comes around that often, but comes around sometimes, making this the perfect time to do the above if you are like me.
