[Amazon.ca] Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Lite 256GB – $420 ($180 off from $600)

Amazon has an $80 coupon and is selling the 256GB variant for the same price as the 128GB. Might be a p rice er ror but could also be deliberate and brings the price more to what it should be anyway.

This is a budget tablet at mid-level prices BUT it serves a niche.

  • s-pen
  • 8GB RAM
  • 256GB storage
  • microSD slot
  • Android 15 and 7 years of updates from 2025

However, the processor is the same as the Tab S9 FE, the screen is worse, it has no IP ingress rating, is a bit heavier and thicker, etc. There are better-spec’d tablets available elsewhere, especially Aliexpress. I ended up choosing this over other options:

– The Lenovo M11 with stylus is $192 right now with Perkopolis Gold (search RFD for the login deets). However it’s 4GB of RAM, old G88 processor, Android 13, updates only to Android 15 (if it even ever gets it), and security updates through end of 2027, plus the Stylus isn’t as well-regarded.

– Aliexpress has the M11 as the “Lenovo K10” going as low as $166 without stylus but with 8GB RAM. But Aliexpress warranty (i.e. good luck), sourcing stylus separately, etc.

– Buy a used Samsung S9, S9 FE, etc from FB marketplace or Kijiji etc. (I preferred new and not dealing with sometimes dishonest sellers)

– The S6 Lite that was on sale recently, wait patiently for another. But again, 4GB RAM, short support lifecycle, and worse performance than the S10 Lite.

May not be the right deal for you, but seemed like a good price for the niche I’m looking at.
