This is slightly cheaper than a recent thread for the same item on Amazon. You can read the thread and decide for yourself whether you need to buy a cheaper version or a more expensive version of something that does the same thing… This is shared in the spirit of necessity – my wife needed it right away and it seemed well-rated and priced well.
As stated, I was instructed to hit up WalMart and purchase a hand blender… I took a black version of this model and an aqua version to the price checker (they were the only colours on the shelf) to check prices… Black was $79.98 and Aqua was $39.00 (great price, but colour was dodgy for our needs)… In the middle of the large aisle near the price checker I was using, I noticed a Kitchen Aid display with, among other small appliances, Black, Aqua and RED versions of the hand blender… I checked the pricing and the Red was also $39.00 (a more palatable colour for us), so I took it.
$xx.00 usually indicates clearance at WalMart… but, these weren’t in a Clearance section and the Aqua was available on the shelf and display and the Red was available on the display at the discounted price.
