Looks like Costco is clearing out the S9+ 256GB
It was $1349 2 days ago and dropped to $849 today.
Some people still prefer the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 over the MediaTek in the S10 series and rumoured in the S11 series.
Personally I went from the S10+ back to the S9+.
