To find this log into your RBC online banking, then click on the credit card that you have points saved up on, then click on “Shop Avion Rewards”. Youll then be taken to Avion Rewards page, At the top of the page click on Redeem, then scroll halfway down the page and click on where it says “Invest in registered savings”. You will then be taken to the page to order your Registered Rewards voucher and just select how many points you want to redeem and go through the checkout. The voucher will then come in the mail. Once you get the voucher in the mail just deposit the voucher into any of your accounts using the RBC app using the deposit a cheque feature and deposit the voucher like you would any regular cheque and your done, straight cash right into your chequing account to use on anything you want.
This is the best bang for your buck when redeeming points if you dont want to redeem your points for travel and just want straight cash. This is how I always redeem my points, I always wait for this 20% sale then I redeem as many points as I can. Ive been using this method for the last 4 years now. With this sale active 1 point = 1 dollar which is a better conversion rate then any of the gifts cards, even when the gift cards are 20% off.
