Megapro’s 2023 Holiday Pack, consisting of a neon green Megapro 8-in-1 multi-bit screwdriver and an LED flashlight.

The screwdriver is non-ratcheting, but has a ring that spins on the shaft so you can hold it with your other hand while still rotating the screwdriver.

The screwdriver includes 7 bits (the 8th is the hex opening of the shaft to also be used as a 1/4″ hex nut driver) and 7 positions in the bit storage to store them, which are standard, single-ended 2″-long, 1/4″ hex shank bits. (not the proprietary double-ended bits found in most other Megapro screwdrivers)

The bits are not very magnetic out of the box and the magnet inside the screwdriver does not increase the magnetic performance of the bits a lot. But the bits are held securely.

I do not own and have never used a Megapro ratcheting screwdriver, so I do not know how this feels compared to that. But I do own a Linus Tech Tips screwdriver, and this feels less refined than that in polish. However, this Megapro is still made in North America. Unknown if USA or Canada; literally nowhere does it say which for some reason.

The LED flashlight has a magnetic base and magnetic swivelling clip, uses 3 x AAA batteries, which are included, is Made in China, and works fine.

Overall, I am satisfied for the price to get a Megapro screwdriver. I am putting it in my backpack due to its relatively small size.
