Just recently got into fishing and was looking for a wading boots. Came across Outbound felted wading boots on clearance at the Grandview Hwy location in Vancouver for $65, sizes 8-11
After digging deeper a bit I found out they are the same as the Frogg Toggs Hellbender boots which go for $109 USD on their site, but the cleated version. Amazon.ca has felt bottomed for $90-$140 depending on size. Side-by-side photos look the same as well as bullet points listed on both sites.
Note that these can only be found at the Grandview Hwy location and nowhere else in Metro Van.
This is my first foray into wading fishing so I have no experience with other boots but they seem OK for my needs which is probably 30-40 days of the year, walking from the beach parking lot to the shoreline, no crazy hiking or bushwacking.
Those with more experience, you’re welcome to chime in.
