This week No Frills in Ontario has iceberg lettuce on sale for $1 which is a great price. But if you are like me, you may have ignored it because their flyer says product of USA . Then a friend told me he saw it at his local store and it was Product of Quebec. So I checked at my local No Frills and while the sign said product of USA, the packaging said either Product of Quebec or Product of Canada (Alberta). I thought I would let people know because I would never have checked if my friend hadn’t told. I just assumed it came from the US. Now I can have tacos with lettuce again.
