Read this before you downvote, comment or buy the Frame TV:
- There are TVs out there with better panels and overall quality for the same price or even less.
- The only reason to consider this TV is for its Art Mode.
- Think of this as a decor piece first and a TV second.
- Frame TVs do go on sale every few months, but this deal is rare because it includes a second, smaller Frame TV.
- It’s a good deal if you actually have a use for that second TV. Otherwise, you might want to wait for another sale.
- If you want a TV for a home theater setup or care about picture quality and HDR, look elsewhere.
- This is more of a lifestyle product. The quality is fine, but it really shines when it blends into your space like a piece of art.
- You still have to buy a bezel frame separately. Expect to spend an extra $250 to $300 on that.
- Definitely get the Costco warranty with this one.
- Samsung finally has some competition in this space too, like the new Hisense Canvas Series.
The main benefit of the “Pro” model is that it comes with a wireless One Connect box now. You’ll need a recessed outlet behind the TV since it uses a separate power cord.
On the regular model, power runs through the thin wire that connects to the One Connect box, so no outlet behind the TV is needed.
