I’ll admit I wasn’t aware of 26 Viet Cafe, their two locations in Vancouver and White Rock, and their Happy Hour $1 Chicken Wings deal … until this Instagrammer’s post came up on my Instagram feed … and she did a comparison between “OG” Phnomh Penh’s chicken wings, with 26 Viet Cafe’s $1 chicken wings deal.

I gotta say the OG Phnom Penh ones do have an extra layer of seasoning (msg?) that makes it that much yummier and have a thinner, slightly chewier and crispier batter that would be different. The garlic is also minced into smaller, finer pieces then fried here making it a different textural topping. So I’d give another point to Phnom Penh for their chunkier, well-seasoned garlic topping
But hey, for $1? I’d come back in a hot secondddddddddd
Their $1 per wing deal is for their happy hours (Monday to Thursday 2:30pm-Close / Friday to Sunday 2:30pm-5:30pm then 8pm-Close)
