Unlockable after 90 days on a US Mobile Line indicated in the terms. They offer $25/m during check out but I skipped the plan and would get the $45 – 3 months trial once the device ships.

Bootloader unlock remains unknown since no one knows where this comes from. If it’s Verizon, then unlocking BL is SOL. People on other VZW MVNO claim the BL unlocks after carrier unlocks like Mint. I will let you decide if it’s a deal breaker.

While their site allows shipping and billing to Canada, their support rep says they don’t ship to US. You are also rolling the dice since no taxes are collected during checkout and will likely be hefty (courier fee + taxes).

Highly recommend ordering the SIM Starter Kit for free so the line can go on a SIM and moved to another phone while you are tinkering. There are XDA threads about skipping OOBE on Pixel 9, so might worth checking out.

Wifi Calling is available on and must be activated in the US. Rep says as long as service is maintained for 90 days, the phone will unlock.
