I have a shared Rogers plan for only $45/month, which gives us 70GB plus 30GB bonus data. Our family uses this 100GB pool across six tablets. The kids have a yearly call-and-text plan from Freedom and use dual SIM in their devices to share data from the Rogers pool across all devices. We love the flexibility Rogers offers!
I also placed the order through Rogers chat since it was showing $20 for me as well. The chat representative confirmed that it would be free, and I’m saving the chat to my email as a backup in case Rogers messes up.
I ordered the iPad 9 at the time when it was showing as free, but when the bill arrived, it included an activation charge and $15 per month. I called Rogers and requested to speak with a manager, who resolved the billing issue.
I previously bought the iPad 9 from Rogers, but this deal is even better. You can add up to 8 lines to your plan.
