Was browsing Flyertalk looking for a deal to SIN and found a some of their direct flights from the States were $1770~ in Mid Aug- Oct
Obviously this is not for everyone especially with the states not being a very nice place right now, but PY on a route this long is usually pretty expensive, even flying round trip to one of those airports + the ticket to SIN works out significantly cheaper than flying PY from Canada (at least from the center of the universe)
These seats are on the A350 and it looks like its a Business/ Premium economy only configuration

Looks like they only run one flight a day at each airport also.
Reading you can save money booking by booking with a third party provider but I personally would book with Singapore Airlines directly
