Existing month-to-month Rogers Ignite 1.5 Gbps. Was paying $50/month from a prior Boxing day promo 2 years ago, and rate was going up to $125/month. Did not have a contract and was month-to-month, with my promo expiring December 27th.
I called this number (855) 201-9547 and went through the menu to change service and then to cancelation.
Told them I was switching to CarryTel for $55/month 1 Gbps and wanted to schedule a December 27th cancelation. I was countered with $50/month for 1.5 gbps for a 24 month contract + a one time $50 bill credit. Took it, and happy!

Friend got the same deal, but had to escalate to a manager first.
Seems like a Black Friday deal but may go into Boxing Day. Not sure!
From what I’ve read in the thread, it’s a very much YMMV with some getting lower than $50 and some above. Some had success via chat but phone has been mostly reliable. Some got $100 bill credit and some got no contract. Seems YMMV
