I visited a Best Buy express on 23 December in need of a new plan. I did have to pay a security deposit of $250 which will be refunded after 6 months. Connection Charge of $70 was kinda waived too with having a 7 month $10 discount. I also got a $150 best buy gift card which I will get cashed out or something.
