I just received a voice-mail from the Burnaby Metrotown EB Games / Game Stop about my Switch 2 pre-order. Turns out there will be a $50 bonus credit on top of the usual trade in value of a Switch 1 starting June 3, 2025. The current trade-in value for an OLED Switch 1 is $150. Nothing official as far as I can tell on their website.
The voice-mail also mentioned their location will be opening at 9pm PST on June 4th for pre-order pickup.
Edit. I stand corrected. The trade in value went down to $125 for the Switch OLED! Those cheap motherf!@@$$%#. Haha send in the downvotes, $150 was already borderline. I’d get more satisfaction gifting it to someone.
