[Walmart] Tempwise WiFi/Bluetooth Dual Probe Wireless BBQ Meat Thermometer – $56

I purchased this for $60 and have used a few times and I think performance has been very good for the price. Despite it only being a few dollars less than what I paid, it is still excellent value compared to other more expensive probes. The short 4 inch probe allows for use in smaller cuts of meat, and the long probe has an ambient temp sensor as well. From my personal testing the ambient temp isn’t very accurate, from what I read thats fairly common when the ambient sensor is a part of the probe that is also stuck into cooler meat.

This appears to be a rebranded Inkbird TNT-BW-12 which is $150 on Amazon, currently with 40% off ($89.99 total), the Tempwise version has a slightly smaller screen. The 2 probe Inkbird meat thermometer is also available at Walmart for $99. So it appears Inkbird is selling their meat thermometers through Walmarts marketplace for a bit less than regular price.

The mobile app for the tempwise branded product is called “RoastTrack” and screenshots are identical to the Inkbird branded ones. The device connects to Tuya, so there is the potential to integrate with Home Assistant in the future however I wouldn’t count on that anytime soon as it would require someone decrypting the values sent for the probes data and adding to one of the tuya integrations for HA. I was only able to figure out how to control screen brightness and volume so far from HA.

Overall for $55 I am very pleased with the product!
