Can be a combination of gift cards (Min. $25) that equal $250. T&C states only one gift card promotion per customer, but I’m not entirely sure if they’re going to enforce that.

In the past, you could use the Rexall gift cards to buy other gift cards, but they caught up to and stopped it. However, I am sure the system allows it if you can convince an associate to try. Rexall is generally pricier than Shoppers Drugmart, so YMMV on how value-driven this promotion is.

Anthem is having their one a year discount on their MRX 8K receivers including the MRX 540/740/1140 along with AVM 70/90.

New ones are 15% off (previous years it was 20% off). I read before that Kennedy Hifi may be able to do a tiny bit better than 15% in a previous post. Not verified though.

Refurbished ones are 35% off. (previous years was up to 40% off) from Anthem Canada.

Sale ends Jan 5, 2026 while supplies last for the refurbished models that usually sell out especially the 540 and 740.

I was waiting for a deal on the MRX 740 but I instead bought the Elite LX805 when it was 50% off at $2250 about 2 months ago. The Anthem is going to sound better for music but other brands may equal or even beat the Anthem slightly for watch movies.

I may regret not getting the Anthem.
