I realize the total cost of a purchase will always be greater than the credit cards offered.
Also lifetime rental cost will be higher than purchase.
But seems like a loss leader incentive to get new business?

![[Amazon.ca] VOLTME 100W 3-Port Compact GAN III Fast PPS USB-C Charger – Black $19.99 / White $23.99](https://www.sgdonlineshop.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/61-KJ1wAyrL.webp)
The white version of this charger is at an all-time low. For some reason it never matches the price of the black version and it’s always priced higher.
Full price for both chargers is $56 but it’s often on sale for around $30. $20 and $24 are pretty good deals, especially if you wanted one in white.
It’s missing the Canadian safety certifications so if that’s a deal breaker for you then avoid this charger.
It has the following certifications:
Regulatory Certifications
– FCC (Federal Communications Commission): A mandatory US certification for electronic products that ensures the device’s electromagnetic interference is within limits approved by the Federal Communications Commission.
– RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances): A European Union directive certifying that the product does not contain restricted hazardous materials like lead, mercury, or cadmium above specified limits.
Safety & Operational Symbols
– (VI) Energy Efficiency Level VI: This Roman numeral indicates the charger meets the highest international standard for energy efficiency. It signifies high power conversion efficiency and low “no-load” power consumption when plugged in but not charging a device.
– House Symbol: Indicates the device is designed for indoor use only and should not be exposed to rain or extreme outdoor conditions.
– Double Square (Square-in-a-Square): This is the symbol for Class II equipment or “Double Insulated”. It means the device’s internal wiring is double-insulated, so it does not require a safety connection to electrical earth (ground) to prevent electric shock.
– Recycling Triangle with “10” (EFUP): This is the Environment-Friendly Use Period symbol, common for products sold in China. It indicates that the hazardous substances contained in the product will not leak or mutate under normal use for 10 years, making it safe for that duration.
– Crossed-out Wheelie Bin (WEEE): This refers to the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment directive. It signifies that the charger should not be disposed of in regular household trash and must be taken to a designated collection point for electronics recycling at the end of its life.
