Yeah with the return of Chinese airlines to YVR, we are seeing more wild deals like this again.

You don’t have to stay in Jakarta (though hotels are so cheap and C$ is strong against the Indonesian Currency), but you can use it as a jump off to go to Bali, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore. Most flights you can score for about $100 round trip if you look at the low cost carrier options.

Its $731 booking with Xiamen directly for those squimish on booking with 3rd party. Which is still great for that long of a flight, plus the amount of days you can stay.

You can play around with the dates, I was able to find in May and June. However this is the longest date range, most are 12-15 days.

Also, its freaken hot that side of the world.

Right now, Amazon.ca is selling both Maynards Fuzzy Peach (814g) and Maynards Sweedish Berries (816g) for $4 each. I’ll admit that this candy is so unhealthy, so consume in moderation, but this is the lowest price I’ve seen in a very long time.

Walmart appears to have dropped their price on the 256GB microsd Express Card to $59.96 for Boxing Week. These microSD “Express” cards are the new format required by the Nintendo Switch 2.

I see it’s still floating at it’s regular price at other retailers, approx. $82 (Amazon) / $85 (BestBuy, Staples) / $84 (Costco).

Possibly matching ATL, I see Bestbuy had some similar sales at the end of November.

Certainly not a ‘start the car’ deal, but perhaps as good as it may get for someone like me who wants one sooner than later.

Sales are capped at 1 per order. Didn’t have any in stock at my local Walmart; the website suggests there are only 2 left online at the time of writing so I’ll label this as YMMV

*EDIT* Thanks daviiiiiid and tietherope for pointing out that EB Games is putting their own branded 256gb microSD Express on sale for $49.99. I see it’s currently live, however in-store pickup doesn’t appear to be an option for me when I check out and shipping is another $9.99 (unless you spend >$100). Without free-shipping, it’s at a similar price-point as the Samsung card from Walmart, but is another option for now

I bought a whole bunch of Video Game ornaments for $0.98 ($1!).. EB games clearing them out.. good for Christmas tree next year! Or use ’em like mini-figurines.

I got like a dozen different ones, mario bros., and Xbox themed one has a 4-pack, so like 25 cents ea.

I know it’s still expensive

This is a definitely a Hot Deal if you grew up watching the Marvel X-men cartoon from 1992 to 1997. Seasons 1 to 5 for $17.99
