Frequently Asked Questions
I have the app downloaded, why am I seeing a landing page prompting me to download the app when I click to play the game?

The Shoppers Drug Mart Wheel of Deals game only works with the latest app store version of the PC Optimum™ app. Please ensure you have the most up to date version on your device.

Why do I have to complete a skill-testing question to claim my prize?

Under the Criminal Code of Canada, all games of pure chance require potential contest winners to complete a skill-based test to make it a game of chance and skill, and to be awarded a prize.

I received my offer; how do I redeem it?

Once you have received your offer by correctly answering the skill-testing question, your offer will be loaded to your PC Optimum™ account. You can redeem your offer between October 24 and October 25, 2026, by 11:59 PM ET by visiting a participating Shoppers Drug Mart or Pharmaprix location and meeting the criteria of the Offer by making the eligible purchase in store. Offer details can be found in the Wheel of Deals carousel under Your Offers. Scan your PC Optimum™ app at checkout at the time of eligible purchase to redeem your offer.

How long do I have to redeem my offer after it’s been added to my account?

Offers won during the Contest Period must be redeemed between October 24 and October 25, 2026, by 11:59 p.m. ET, after which time they expire. Remember, you must correctly answer the mathematical skill-testing question for the offer to be considered claimed.

How many plays do I get?

All digitally registered PC Optimum™ members are entitled to one play within the promotional period.

What happens if I try to redeem my offer after the offer deadline?

All offers will expire at 11:59 p.m. ET on October 25, 2026. If you have not redeemed your offer by that date and time, you will no longer be able to redeem it as the offer has expired.

How do I see the details of the offer I won?

You can see the details of your offer under the Wheel of Deals Prizes section of Your Offers. You can click the offer details button to see the specific details of the offer you have won.

I received an offer, why doesn’t it show under the Wheel of Deals Offers section of My Offers?

You can only view active offers in that section, and an offer is only active after you successfully claim it by correctly answering the mathematical skill-testing question and until 11:59 p.m. ET on October 25, 2026.

OK sale, the rest will be added Thursday.

As requested by @Rngmonster13, a * next to the price means either best price in recent memory, a great value or my top pick.

While I try to be as consistent as possible with the ‘same@’, It can be tricky at times especially when it comes to fruits/meat/veggies as quality can vary from grocer to grocer. It can also be confusing with veggies that come in 1/2/3/5/10lb packages and items like TP that come in so many packages/sizes/softness/absorbency.

Furthermore, quantity and ‘freedom of choice’ is always better AKA 1$ for 1kg is better than 2$ for 2kg- It’s expected the higher size/package to have a better price. Also, items that can be picked (fruits etc) for x$ is better than the prepackaged at the same price/weight.

Lastly, I usually give PCO points at almost face $ value AKA item at 2$ is almost the same as 3$ with bonus 1000PCO. I say almost because of taxes and/or how you spend those PCO points (bonus points day, spend x$ get xPCO back.)

Note : This thread usually goes online at 5:00am on Wednesday. Walmart and Kim Phat usually have their flyers online on Thursday and will be updated accordingly.
