I was looking at this grill anyways from the official site yesterday, where it is $599 CAD as a sale price. Saw this flash deal from Walmart today and ordered it with free shipping.

These seem to be well regarded online and the clear lid is a neat feature I haven’t seen elsewhere.

Picked this up at the Markham Costco for $19.97. About 15 sets left on the shelf when I was there.

Refurbished ECOFLOW Portable Power Station RIVER 2 Pro 768Wh, LiFePO4 Battery, 70 Min Fast Charging, 4X800W (X-Boost 1600W) AC Outlets

https://www.amazon.ca/EF-ECOFLOW-RIVER- … B0H3V6VNR5

Looks to be refurbished from EcoFlow. Price of $349 is okay if you’re looking for a unit that would be able to keep your fridge or freezer running for a few hours.

Downside to this unit is that there is no good way of adding any extra battery capacity and the AC autoswitch time is less than 30 ms (versus less than 10 ms for the River 3 units). Not an issue if you’re looking to battery backup your fridge but wouldn’t use it to use it as a UPS for a PC.

Found this amazing deal at Shoppers Drug Mart yesterday. They had their PC Kettle Chips on for $1 each and if you buy 3, you get 4000 Optimum points. So you’re effectively getting an extra dollar back in points. As far as I can tell, there is no limit. I bought 6 bags at this price and got 8000 points.

I’m not sure if this deal is on at all SDM’s, this was at Sunwood Square in Coquitlam. Not many bags were left when I went and only a few flavours. There might be more at other stores though. Check it out while you go get your Christie cookies!

YMMV at other stores, they’re being cleared out since mid autumn festival is over and the best before date is in a few weeks.

Came across this Gentlemen’s Hardware bike tool kit at Princess Auto. Includes seven ball-end hex keys, a chain breaker, a three-way socket tool, spanners and a combination screwdriver, all in a wooden storage box. Nothing out of ordinary but nice presentation. Makes a good gift to someone starting cycling now.

Retails for 83 on amazon. Cannot comment on tool quality.
