Stopped in to try and get one of those milwaukee scissors(got one!!) And found this. I burn through knives quickly so if i can get inexpensive ones im happy

It seems like a decent knife. A bit on the smaller side than what im used to but still useable, belt clip AND with a bottle opener to boot!!

I know there are a lot of people who refuse to pay this much for a blow dryer but there are people who speak very highly of the Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer. $269.99 is the lowest i’ve seen for the refub.

At the risk of getting excited about old technology like Borat…a 720p HDTV with a built in DVD player for a decent price. It’s a ‘dumb’ Tv, as in no smart features. I believe Visions sells the same one for over 200$. Also available is a smaller 24” version. You likely won’t find stock in store. Great for guest room, kids playroom or bedroom type thing.

What I also like about this item is that it’s sold and shipped by Walmart and not a third-party seller.

Very nice deal, same fast Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor as in the Samsung S23 Ultra. Not many were sold in Canada, mainly in the US. This was Motorola’s last true flagship phone. A used S23 Ultra 512GB on FB marketplace goes for $700-$800. Don’t see many current flagship phones for $400. Like Samsung Dex, the Motorola is suppose to do an even better job than the Samsung when using it as a mini PC or emulator. USB port can also connect to an external monitor or headphones.

Updates run until mid 2027 however this phone is officially supported by Lineage OS for extended security updates.

One other thing worth noting is the Canadian version does not have ESIM support, so it’s single SIM. The US version does have ESIM and I am unsure if you can install the US software to gain ESIM and resolve this one drawback.

Note: The Motorola camera software tends to over process pictures, here is the Google camera port that I am using, pictures are now excellent. Just turn on HDR+ enhanced, night mode can be hit a or miss so use normal mode and avoid taking slow motion videos.. Compare with the stock camera and use whichever one you prefer.

This is selling pretty much at cost when you price it out by component. Yes, you can build it cheaper if you do Alixpress for the CPU, cut some other corners or wait for DDR5 prices to come down.
