Found some of these 25lb barbell plates (1”) on sales at Canadian Tire in Calgary (Southland Dr). They had 22 in stock today.

They were not on the floor stocked, they were in the warehouse.

The 35lb ones also seem to be very cheap at some locations as well, as low as 11.97 at store 0637 (Calgary McKenzie Towne)

Maybe you’ll get lucky too at your local spot!

Not a “deal”, but given the salt shortage across Ontario, getting salt for normal price (and not paying the inflated markups I’m seeing) is considered a win for me in this crazy winter we’re having.

Check your local Costco. This was Yorkdale Costco at 4pm today. Hope this helps some people who are as desperate for ice melters as I am!
