  • [WestJet] [FLIGHT DEAL] Vancouver (YVR) to Dublin (DUB) , Ireland – $684 CAD Roundtrip (Including Taxes) (1 or 2 Stops)

Spotted a solid drop for autumn travel out of Vancouver (YVR) down to Dublin (DUB) for $684 CAD roundtrip. Usually, trans-Atlantic hops from the west coast hover well over $1,100+, so this is a great price point if you want to head over to Ireland when the crowds thin out.
    •Departure: Vancouver (YVR)
    •Destination: Dublin (DUB) (Ireland)
•Price: $684 CAD Roundtrip (Inc. Taxes)
    •Airline: WestJet
    •Routing: 1 Stop (Calgary) or 2 Stops (Calgary+Kelowna)
•Availability: Limited dates showing up for October 2026 (e.g., Oct 8–16, Oct 9–16, etc.)

Tip: Check Google Flights or directly on the airline’s aggregator to lock in specific dates if you’re matching up connections. Happy travels!

    WARNING: Ultra Basic Fare
This price is for WestJet’s base fare only:
    • Included: One small personal item (backpack that fits under the seat in front of you).
    • Not Included: Carry-on luggage, checked bags, seat selection, or food/drinks.
    • Tip: If you need a rolling carry-on or checked bag, make sure to add it during checkout. Paying for bags at the airport will ruin the deal! Also, remember to check in online for free.

If this helped, a quick thumbs up on the post helps keep the deal visible for others. Cheers!

  • [Koho] New Koho Core Plan (free) w/ $100 Rebate via FinlyWealth + $100 cashback (on $1000 spend) [New Customers Only]

    1.Click through via FinlyWealth
    2. Use code FW10C26 on Koho when asked

Seems this Core plan is new. It pairs well with the $100 Finly rebate + $100 (10% on $1000 spend) cashback promo since you don’t have to worry about monthly account fees (or funding the account each month).

I am in the midst of doing a similar offer on the Essential plan and got the $100 from Finly quickly. The 10% cashback is accumulating as expected although there were some hiccups getting it all set up (customer service was easy enough to sort it out though). I would have done the Core offer but it didn’t exist.

The Core plan includes unlimited free transactions and etransfers. 2% interest on your balance. Note this is not a postpaid card and involves no credit check. No monthy fee.

Finly has some more details about the Core plan here

  • [Expedia Cruise/Costco] NCL Encore Oct 12 Vancouver 6nt Cruise – $489pp (DEAD)

Edit: Sorry folks, deal is now dead. Starting price is now $630 per person for inside, they probably had a limited amount of cabins at the discounted price.

This will probably get a bunch of downvotes since this cruise is going to the US. However, prices in Mexico and other similar destinations have increased so much that it’s hard to find an affordable vacation from YVR unless you want to just go camping – this ends up being CAD170 per person per night and it’s not too hard to spend no/very little money on a cruise itinerary like this. For those saying to travel locally, a week at a decent hotel in BC is probably going to be around $1500 without even thinking about meals, gas, activities, etc…

Norwegian is having an unadvertised sale on the Encore Oct 12th 6 nights Vancouver repositioning sailing, this cruise ends in LA. Seems to be limited to certain agents, it’s not available on the NCL website and one smaller agent I called but I have found this at Costco Travel and Expedia/Expedia cruises. Cost breakdown is as follows and based on one cabin with 2 people, 3rd and 4th guests (ie kids) in a cabin typically just pay the taxes/fees(CAD340) and gratuities (USD20 per night):

    Interior Cabin Fare CAD305.66
    Taxes and Fees CAD673.04
Gratuities CAD332.56 (Gratuities are not advertised by the cruise lines, I did not include them in the $498 per person price)
    Cruise Total – CAD1311.26
Airfare for two CAD720 direct or starting at CAD568 one-stop back to YVR
Cruise + Airfare – CAD2031.26 direct or CAD1879.26 one-stop – might be cheaper to stay one night and fly back next day

    Travel Agent Provided Incentives:
Expedia Cruises (not Expedia) USD50/CAD70 Onboard Credit
Costco Travel CAD25 Shop Card + 2% Executive Cashback

    Optional Extras:
    Upgrade to Oceanview – CAD84
    Upgrade to Balcony – CAD226
Free at Sea Two Premium Dining Credit Package – CAD112.18 (incl 150minutes wifi)
Free at Sea Drinks Package – CAD479.52 (incl 150minutes wifi)
Free at Sea Drinks + Prem Dining – CAD591.70 (incl 150minutes wifi)

Easiest way to get the Free at Sea packages added on was through the expediacruises.ca website, you just add it in the optional add-ons section when checking out. I did try to call a local office but the rep I spoke to was useless and literally told me to book it online. Not sure if you can get the packages through Costco, there’s some reports online you can add it after booking on the website but probably best to call in. The onboard credit at Expedia Cruises is worth more anyways unless you really want to spend $0 onboard.

    Some other points:

    • You will board at Canada Place in Vancouver and clear US customs there
    • This is a stop in Victoria and an overnight stop in San Francisco
    • The base fare includes meals at several locations throughout the ship – buffet, main dining room, casual spots, you will not go hungry
    • Kids club (3+), shows and basic activities will be included
    • You’ll have cell coverage when docked in Vancouver/Victoria/SF. If you absolutely must have wifi all the time, it’ll be another USD29.99 per day for the two sea days.

  • [No Frills] Chapman’s Premium Plus – 5000 PCO Points for $9.00 Spend – PM with Foodland $3.00/unit

YMMV due to Price Match ability

This coming week’s Moredays Loblaws branner of stores promotion has 5000 PCO point when you spend $9.00 on Chapman’s Premium Plus ice cream.

Foodland has Chapman’s Premium Plus ice cream for $2.99.

Price matching will essentially work out to $4.00 (plus taxes on original) for three pints.

If your local Loblaws/ValuMart/Independent/RCSS/Fortinos also price match with Foodland, this will work there too.
