Found this flight from The Canadian Jetsetter Newsletter.

Google Flights is showing a third-party fare from Toronto (YYZ) to Grand Cayman (GCM) for $305 CAD round trip on WestJet, direct flights, economy class, for travel dates between September and December 2026.

IMPORTANT: This $305 price is only available when booking through a third-party site. If you book directly with WestJet, the lowest fare shown is the Ultrabasic fare at $333 CAD round trip.

Note that the Ultrabasic fare is WestJet’s most restrictive economy fare class:
– No carry-on bag included
– No free seat selection (fee applies)
– No ticket changes allowed
– No refunds
– Standard seat only, no priority boarding
– 1st checked bag costs an extra $160 CAD

If you want more flexibility and included baggage, WestJet’s Econo fare is $501 CAD round trip and includes 1 free carry-on bag, with the 1st checked bag at $140 CAD (still no refunds/no priority boarding). The Econoflex fare at $681 CAD includes free seat selection, free changes (possible fare difference), 1 free carry-on, and the 1st checked bag free, but still no refunds.

As with all third-party itineraries, prices can fluctuate hour by hour, and it’s worth refreshing Google Flights a couple of times to see all options. I personally prefer booking directly with the airline when possible, so please do your own research to decide what works best for you.

Flight details:
Departing: Sat Sep 19 – 9:40 AM YYZ to 12:45 PM GCM (4h 5m, WestJet WS 2032)
Returning: Sat Sep 26 – 1:45 PM GCM to 6:55 PM YYZ (4h 10m, WestJet WS 2033)

I noticed today morning that Costco Canada has started a $500 off promotion on the LG 65” C6 OLED series TV.

I saw that there is already an RFD thread discussing the 77” C6, and there has been a few posts discussing the **65” model in that thread as well. I thought the 65” deal deserved its own thread so that the pricing and availability for this size don’t get buried in the 77” discussion.

Sale price: $1,994.49 before tax
Regular price: $2,494.49
Savings: $500

Sale period: August 31 – September 27, 2026

Some highlights:

* 65” OLED evo 4K
* 120 Hz native refresh rate
* HDMI 2.1
* VRR / ALLM / QMS
* Dolby Vision / HDR10 / HLG
* NVIDIA G-Sync compatible
* Wi-Fi 6E
* Apple AirPlay / HomeKit
* 40 W audio

Costco includes a 2-year warranty and has the 90-day TV return policy.

The C6 is the successor to the C5 and brings several improvements, including a new α11 Gen 3 processor, better brightness/color performance and improved gradient handling. It also supports Dolby Vision, which is a major advantage over Samsung’s OLED offerings. RTINGS currently rates the C6 as its Upper Mid-Range LG TV recommendation, making this $1,994.49 Costco price particularly interesting.

FWIW I purchased via similar TCB deal in June. It appeared “Pending” in my TCB account same-day. Still shows as pending today, which isn’t abnormal given the stated payout timeframe, but is a testament to the patience that will be required to wait for your rebate.

Caveat: Deal specifically for condo/apartment/townhouse dwellers – single family home dwellers with room should look at better performing BBQs for this price.

Been eyeing this up for our condo balcony and the $250 off coupon puts it at an ATL from my tracking. Really interesting, well reviewed alternative to gas or charcoal BBQs. This is the XL model specifically, there’s a smaller size model (with fewer features, not on sale) if this is too large/heavy.

Link to deal, use coupon “SAVINGS” in Cart to bring down to $349

Price Comparison:

[*]$579.99 @ Canadian Tire
[*]$579.99 @ Amazon Canada
[*]$579.98 @ Walmart Canada

These are the non-Dollarama branded products (ie. The hidden gems). Dollarama has decent Dollarama branded products but that’s not the idea of my posts. I’m looking for the good stuff.

Everything at Dollarama is currently $5 and under. If something is more than $5, then it is a mandatory provincially based eco fee that gets added by the government, not Dollarama.

As seen at Landsdowne store in Richmond, BC.

These products may not be restocked and are probably not typically carried.

As Temporel has mentioned in the past, “The idea of posting pictures is to show what you COULD find and should look for. That doesn’t mean you WILL find what is pictured. Not every item is available at every stores. The Dollarama business model is often selling end-of-the-line products or liquidations and that means not enough stock for its > 1,000 stores in Canada. Not enough stock also weto keep provisioning stores for weeks and months. So if you find something that suits you, stock-up as the odds are the product will be gone the next time you shop. If you don’t find what you want at your local store, check another a few blocks away.”
