As requested by @Rngmonster13, a * next to the price means either best price in recent memory, a great value or my top pick.

While I try to be as consistent as possible with the ‘same@’, It can be tricky at times especially when it comes to fruits/meat/veggies as quality can vary from grocer to grocer. It can also be confusing with veggies that come in 1/2/3/5/10lb packages and items like TP that come in so many packages/sizes/softness/absorbency.

Furthermore, quantity and ‘freedom of choice’ is always better AKA 1$ for 1kg is better than 2$ for 2kg- It’s expected the higher size/package to have a better price. Also, items that can be picked (fruits etc) for x$ is better than the prepackaged at the same price/weight.

Lastly, I usually give PCO points at almost face $ value AKA item at 2$ is almost the same as 3$ with bonus 1000PCO. I say almost because of taxes and/or how you spend those PCO points (bonus points day, spend x$ get xPCO back.)

Note : This thread usually goes online at 5:00am on Wednesday. Walmart and Kim Phat usually have their flyers online on Thursday and will be updated accordingly.

Ok I know this isn’t for everyone but I’ve been doing this every Tuesday the past few months, there’s some great deals to be had, of course there’s delivery fees etc but with GCs etc I’m always coming out ahead. There’s a ton of other deals to be had, look for the deals section. if you stick to the 30% items it’s mostly cheaper than normal. If you’re lucky you have another discount promo, I haven’t had any in a long time but once I did it combined to make it even cheaper!

Sorry for a late post as it expires by Feb 11th. Only realized and tried it late today.

Loblaws have Rooster Jasmine Scented rice 8kg on sale for $16. They also have the MartAsia promotion which gives 10000 pc points for $30+ spent with code “MART10”, which also combines with pc optimum offer for 3000 points for every $15 spent on Rooster products.

So effectively, this gives you $16 in points when you buy 2 bags of 8kg Rooster Jasmine Rice which effectively makes it $16 for 16 kg of Jasmine rice or effectively even a BOGO.

Add 2 Rooster Jasmine Rice of 8Kg to cart and at checkout use code “MART10” for this deal to work. Probably works the best with loblaws store itself due to the current price comparing other participating stores in the promotions.

PS: Also make sure to add other needed groceries and select do not substitute for jasmine rice bags, so that even if the rice is out of stock, you could still score the 16000 pc points once other items get delivered. It has worked for me all the time like that.
