At time of writing this post, I couldn’t find any GOG forum discussion(s) that says the GOG storefront-listed version of Furi Demake – The Chain (gog.com/en/game/furi_demake_the_chain) will also be transitioning from free to paid game model. That said, if you haven’t already claimed/added it to your GOG account library, it can’t hurt to do so.

News about Furi Demake – Steam news update (May 7, 2025)

Hi everyone,

Furi Demake has been available for free for a little over a year now, and we truly loved watching you enjoy it.

The game has not been getting a lot of visibility since its launch, and we want as many players as possible to get the chance to play it. Unfortunately a free game can only enter a limited amount of fests or events on Steam. Making it paid will allow us to register it in events, discount it, and make it visible to more people.

It will also help us measure how much interest this take on Furi is generating, as of course we are dreaming about adding more bosses to it. As we dream about it, which boss would you chose to be the next one to come to Furi Demake?

So on June 23rd we will make Furi Demake paid. But YOU can still grab it for free and keep it forever, and tell a friend to grab it!

Furi Demake is a loveletter to our community, and we thank you all for your support and we hope you enjoy the game!

Defeat The Chain to escape your jail. Fight Furi’s first guardian in an ultra-fast-paced and nervous battle, in a reinvented side-scrolling mix of shoot’em up and hack’n slash. Be agile and quick, jump, shoot, dash, parry and slash. The simple controls will test your nerves: stay calm and focus to evade the blows and counter-attack at the right time!

Reviews are mixed but the price is decent for a unit with UV sterilization. Recent reviews have better ratings so perhaps this is an indication that something was updated or fixed with the unit?

On Sale May 8 to May 14. Doesn’t (shouldn’t) stack with the 15% off $100+ (on regular priced items) that they have running this weekend.

Really great price on a 3gal air compressor and it comes with a brad nailer. Even at full price, it’s still quite a bit cheaper than comparable units with the nail gun. I’ve used this kit on a few jobs around the house and it’s great for DIY-work if you plan on using it 3-5 times a year. If you’re going to use it more than that, i’d probably go with a higher-end set up.

You’re not going to beat this value on a new air compressor. I also grabbed a $20 air compressor add-on kit which occasionally goes on sale from CT so I can fill my tires with it.

I got the $78 Milwaukee Screwdriver Kit last month, so was also looking to buy some bits for my new toy.
This 42-piece set (Model # 48-32-1554|Store SKU # 1001847882) was listed at $14.98 on THD website back then. When I finally decided to place an order about 2 weeks ago, it disappeared from website. I even went to my local THD for it, but didnt find it on the shelves either, so thought it might be discontinued.

I was just casually going throught THD website for screwdriver bit set again this morning, and found this 42-piece set showing up again. And, the price changes to $9.98.
It does not appear to be on sale though.
