Pretty good screen for a budget tablet. Lenovo is a established brand that has great build quality with their tablets – so at this price there’s really little reason to go with the budget brands like Alldocube and Teclast unless you want a international market tablet. This Lenovo is Chinese market tablet and will require a bit of setup for Google and English language.

(Disclaimer: Not hot… warm at best… but in keeping with the other active Public Mobile promos/threads, I’m posting here as a public service to existing users who can use the plans. But feel free to downvote — you know you want to!)

On Friday (June 6), Public Mobile released a new $15 plan which has 500 MB of data. Like its predecessors, it has unlimited Canada-wide minutes and text, but it beats previous versions which had no data or only 250 MB data. This will only show up if you are currently on a $13 or $15 plan. If you’re on an old $13/$15 and could use a bit more data, this might be for you.

Public Mobile also released a $19 plan with 2GB of data. This replaces the previous $19 plan with only 1GB of data (and of course predecessors of the $19 plan which had 250 MB or 500 MB). This one will only show up if you’re on a $19 or lower-priced plan, and only upgrades data. Again, you’ll have to choose this plan (scheduled change) so that you get the extra data starting from your next cycle.

It doesn’t look like these are visible/available to new subscribers. In fact the $19 plan for new sign-ups is still the 1GB version.

As indicated in another thread, Costco KS Spanish EVOO is on sale for $8.33 per litre. My local Costco also has KS Organic EVOO on sale for slightly higher $8.50 per litre if you are not into Spanish olives. The expiry date for both are late August, 2026. Both are sold in dark plastic bottles. EVOO prices has been fluctuating recently. And anything under $10 per litre warrants consideration when shopping for low cost EVOO.

The Organic EVOO uses olives from multiple Mediterranean countries, including Portugal, Tunisia, Spain, Italy and Greece. Here are some photos for comparison.

Before someone jumps in and claim this is fake EVOO, keep in mind that Costco is a multi-billion dollar company that operates over 900 stores in 14 countries with headquarter located in the most litigious country in the world. Kirkland Signature is their own house brand so they are responsible for product quality. If they are caught selling fake product, the monetary reputational loss plus class-action lawsuit for damages can easily purchase olive orchards in the Mediterranean region. So, if you can prove this is fake EVOO, here’s your chance at owning an olive orchard and press your own OO.

I noticed that if you change the language for the Home Depot 3AH battery deal at 68$, although the description, model number etc link to the 3AH, the title refers to the 5AH battery !

Bought it online for pickup. They prepared the 3AH but I argued a bit and they ended up giving me the 5Ah !
