  • [Waves Coffee] [AB,BC] Two regular Iced Canadianos for $5 (RRP for one is $4.70)

I saw a signboard showing this promo when walking past a Waves Coffee shop in the Edmonds (Burnaby BC) area yesterday, and I found the corresponding Instagram post. According to the Online Ordering system, the regular price for a single regular Iced Canadiano is CA$4.70

    Canadiano 6-12 Cal

During WWII, American soldiers in Europe couldn’t handle the straight stuff like Europeans, so they asked for their espresso watered down. Europeans (the original coffee geeks) nicknamed the drink “the Americano”. This is our patriotic take on that historic classic.

    Iced Canadiano

Smooth and bold, Canadian roasted espresso, iced to perfection to create a refreshing and flavourful beverage.

There seems to be no specified end date for the time being – when I or others find out when that is, I will update the deal post’s Expiry date accordingly.

  • [HP] HP Omen 5070 Ti $1352.85 (after cashback & Amex offer)

I don’t think I have seen 5070 Ti this low. I think this is a decent deal. This only caveat is it’s bilingual keyboard.

    OMEN Gaming Laptop 16-am0000ca
    $1999 – $200 coupon – 15% AMEX discount + 20% rakuten cashback
    ($1799 * 1.12 BC Tax) – 15% AMEX credit = $1712.65 out of pocket – $359.8 Cash back = $1,352.85 net total
Heard some said they had issues with Rakuten for HP cashbacks but even without it, it’s a good deal I think. 15% Amex is for Biz card. 10% for personal.

    Processor Intel® Core™ 7 240H
    Memory 16 GB RAM
    Storage 1 TB SSD

  • [Walmart] Seasonal Christmas Clearance (75% off some things now, should be 75% off all Christmas items tomorrow, in-store YMMV)

[Walmart] Seasonal Christmas Clearance (75% off some things now, should be 75% off all Christmas items tomorrow, in-store YMMV)

Was at Walmart today and found a few things already on clearance for 75% off, mostly the Hallmark Christmas ornaments for $2.75 each (the ones in the normal red packages) to $5 for the Funko Pop ones/higher prices ones but they all seem to be 75% off along with certain decor things like tablecloths etc. were also 75% off. The cashier I spoke with said that tomorrow is the day they start putting everything 75% off that isn’t already so if you’re in the market for a Christmas tree or some holiday chocolate (currently it’s 40-50% off for chocolate at most stores), might be worth the trip tomorrow :) This is all store-dependent so some stores may take longer than others to update the prices but I’m sure the 75% should start sometime this week. That is of course if your Walmart hasn’t put everything away and put out the Valentine’s chocolate yet 😛
