WestJet has dropped the price of their flights from Vancouver to Liberia, Costa Rica down to between $389 and $481 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The flights are nonstop both ways, and available for two of the most desirable months to be in Costa Rica.
WestJet just added these flights to their schedule yesterday, and they are the only nonstop flights from Vancouver to Costa Rica.

I consider $389 roundtrip to be WestJet’s clickbait (CB) price because it doesn’t include checked luggage or carry-on. Not exactly a realistic way to travel.
$481 roundtrip is the more realistic price because at least it includes checked luggage.
However, those with the WestJet World Elite credit card can take advantage of the clickbait price as the card gives you free checked luggage.

Availability for travel
January, February 2026

I didn’t have any luck looking on GoogleFlights and had to go to the WestJet website to see deals. Regular round trip flights during this period seem to be around $870 – $1200.
