Solid deal if you’re sick of the Ring/Nest monthly subscription ransom. For 120 bucks, you’re getting a 4K camera and the solar panel included. No drilling for wires, no taking it down to charge every few months. You just pop in a cheap microSD card and you’re good to go. Being able to pan and tilt from the app is a huge bonus to keep an eye on the side gate. Hard to beat this value right now for a true wire-free 4K setup.

Pretty sweet combo deal if you’re looking to monitor the backyard. It’s the Tapo 2K wireless cam combined with their solar panel for $69.99. Was originally looking at Ring or Arlo, but by the time you buy the camera, add a solar panel, and pay their monthly subscription, it gets stupid expensive. This connects straight to your Wi-Fi, no hub needed, and runs totally free with an SD card. Grabbing one to keep an eye on the side gate.

Crazy good price on this Tapo C410 wireless outdoor cam. Dropped to $44.99 from $90. Good pick for watching the front porch. The fact that you don’t need a base station and can just throw a cheap SD card in it makes it a pretty much a no-brainer at this price point. Great cheap addition if you already use Tapo/Kasa stuff around the house.

One review from an EU buyer mentioned that “it is region locked”.

I asked AI and it suggests that it should be OK to buy from US source and use in Canada. I haven’t tried yet.
