additional line
i noticed that if you do a new activation there is an additional $5 credit on all devices under finance so an additional savings of $120 over two years for the device
Samsung S24FE comes is $0
Pixel 9 becomes $10 over 24 months ($240)
etc
The $70 activation fee is there but you will receive 7×10$ credit
$5 credit is listed there but not reflected in the monthly price – similar to the $10 credit
In addition, Rogers is offering additional credit for when you trade in your old device to them (Android devices getting bonus $200 if you purchase an android device)
seems like a great deal – considering the price of the base plan

I received a phone call from 844-562-4255 today and they offered my some BS phone plans which was not interested. Then I asked them if I want to change my current home internet service month-to-month into contract, would I get any discount? and agent connected me to Home Service department, and the new agent gave me $10 discount right away for 2 year contract. So I came out with $29.99/m for 2 years speed 150M.

Edit confirmed legit on paper!
Caveat, since I have chosen the full $880 bill credit instead of covering my device financing that maxes out at $730 (which would leave $150 on the table for accessories in store), I will not receive the credit for 2-3 billing cycles apparently.
Options were:
A) Instant credit by acting as the full downpayment of the device, for me that would max out at $730, leaving money on the table or for in store accessories I don’t need.
B) Bill credit of $880 at a future date but they have to send the device away for processing and can take up to 3 bill cycles. I was worried about them baiting and switching me but the clerk reassured me that since the device passed the check by him it will process just fine. His name and details are on the checklist outlined on the paperwork given to me. Fingers crossed they don’t screw me over!
UPDATE Jan 22-2025: Today the bill credit came through of full $880! It was legit! Take that you downvoting clowns

Ported 6 numbers to Telus a month early from 2-year contract a month ago for one of their $45 plans that was floating around.
Got a call a week later from Rogers for the following:
$35/Month
50 GB CAN+US+MEX
100 GB/Month Bonus For 2 Years
1000 Minutes Long Distance/Month For 2 Years – 58 Countries
$70 Activation Fee. Credited back @ $10/month over 7 Months
No minimum amount of lines.
Autopay Discount Not Applicable
I told the guy maybe, and to call me in two days while I discussed it with other line holders on my account. I called Telus right after his call to get Telus to match/beat the offer. While I was waiting for Telus to get back to me, the guy called me the next day to offer an additional $10 off per month for 24 months.
Since he told me there’s no minimum qty of lines required for this plan and it’s all the same monthly bill for all of them, I ported back. I brought back 3 lines back to Rogers with this offer.
I’ll be paying $15/month/line until this summer, then $25 for 1.5 years. Or until I find something better.
I’ve had 3 or 4 calls from Telus reps trying to get me back, but when I gave the details of the plan, they all just said “Oh…” and told me they’d get back to me.
The Rogers number that called me was: 1-866-727-2141
Good luck folks.
