I was window shopping for impractical/expensive coffee equipment and saw that this super overpriced coffee scale is now just really overpriced.

It’s a scale, it weighs things. That’s kind of it.

You can definitely get something that does this for less. Hell, you can get several scales that do basically this for half of this price.

Having one of these is mostly a flex, to who? I’m not really sure. I’d be impressed, but your friends, maybe not so much. This is also the most basic model they sell too, so you’d still be basic, just not as.

Acaia scales are also known for their speed/reliability/ and customer support, but for 20x the cost of a basic scale it better be at least good.

If you wanted one, this is an okay price. I haven’t been looking at this long enough to know if this is an all time low, but it definitely is a seasonal low so far.

You might get lucky on the Shop App and get a personalized offer in conjunction with this lower price. But that one is super YMMV.

I have a timemore black mirror among other cheaper less reliable scales I own that I hate, and I’m seriously considering buying this.

Can’t find the “regular” price at CT but Target US sells it for 39.99 USD (~$56), so I’d say at least half price?
